Hi, and welcome to the Freehold Borough Police Department's PBA web
page. We are designated as PBA 159 of the New Jersey State Police
Benevolent Association.
We are a non-profit organization that works for the officers of our local,
but we don't stop there. Most of our efforts are geared toward
different issues within Freehold Borough. We accomplish this in the
form of donations to local organizations, the arranging of different
events, and sometimes just the loaning of our manpower to different
causes.
Each month we hold meetings for our members where we review previous
issues, discuss current events, and look toward future issues. Our
largest event each year is the Santa Train. Usually held in the
middle weeks of December, we arrange for Santa Claus to visit Freehold via
a Conrail Train at the Bus Station. When Santa arrives he visits
with each of the waiting children, poses for photos with them, and even
gives each child a present. Even if you don't have children, it is
truly a wonderful event to come watch. The great people of Conrail
also put a lot of effort into this event.
So, if you come across a worthy cause in Freehold Borough and are looking
for any type of help, please don't hesitate to contact me or any of the
PBA officers listed below. Thanks for stopping by, and check in
occasionally for upcoming events.
